Amid growing concerns with the coronavirus, DHA is committed to maintaining a high level of quality of service and timely responses to your needs. We are also ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients remains a top priority during this time. For those reasons, we have an internal business continuity task force that is continually monitoring the situation and has implemented the following procedures:

  1. Office Hours  *see post from 3/18 – Regular Office Hours will be suspended as of Monday, 3/23
    • As of today, our office is currently open with normal business hours and is fully staffed
    • We will communicate any changes to our office hours via this blog and Google
  2. Social Distancing & Utilizing Technology
  • If you prefer to not come into the office during this time, we have multiple ways to continue to provide you with service:
    • Meeting Options
      • If you have scheduled a meeting in our office, our preference would be for you to consider meeting via phone or video conferencing
      • Please reach out to your DHA point of contact or support@dha-cpa.com to make appropriate arrangements
    • Digital Delivery
      • Effective today, March 16th, 2020, we are transitioning our default delivery method of tax returns and other projects to digital form
      • You will be provided with secure access to a PDF of your tax return and any other deliverables, and signature forms will be sent for digital signature
    • Dropping Off Documents
      • If you have not yet dropped off your documents for tax preparation you can send us your documents digitally using the Secure File Sharing feature on our website, or you may drop off physical documents using our Drop Box
  1. Filing deadlines
    • We are closely monitoring the situation regarding the possible extension of the April 15th filing deadline for individuals and will be sharing communication and next steps as soon as they are available
  2. Ongoing monitoring
    • We are reviewing the COVID-19 situation daily and are following recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH)
